On Sunday, March 24th 2002 The Ft Atkinson Kennel Club held a Rare Breed Show at the Jefferson County fairgrounds. Ms Brenda Ford with her Leonberger Merlin took Best in Breed against nine other Leonbergers. Then went on to compete against twelve other rare breeds to take Best in Show.
Excellent showing for a Twelve month old!

On Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003. I was in Ixonia, Wisconsin at my first Conformation Show. It was a UKC show (actually 2 shows), and my 8-month old Golden Graham took Reserve in the second show. He was the only puppy, so obviously he took first in both shows and then went up against a 2-1/2 yr. old and a 5 yr. old males. Well the first show didn't get him anywhere, but the second show he went Reserve. I got so excited I forgot which dog he went over, and which dog took best male! Guess I'll have to wait for the next edition of Bloodlines to find out!

Took a 3 point major from the puppy class at Manitowoc Co. Kennel Club on Tuesday Sep. 16, 2003. On Monday at Oshkosh Kennel Club he took Reserve to a major. Handled by Christine Engelsman. (Ozzy is nine months old.)
