Cody has been working at BC Dog Training as a demo dog for about 2 1/2 years. He completed his AKC Companion Dog title in May 1997 getting his three legs in three trials. Cody began showing in Agility in December, 1997 and quickly earned his Novice and Open titles in AKC. Since then Agility and Flyball have been Cody's main activities.
At home, Cody lives to play frisbee and go swimming with his adopted brother BAILEY. Cody also goes with Bailey to visit the VA hospital in North Chicago as a pet therapy volunteer.
Currently, Cody is ranked #3 Golden Retriever in Novice A, 24" Agility Class in the country. This ranking is for trials completed thru April 1998.
Cody continues the winning ways capturing 3rd place in the 24" division at the Pup-Peroni Regional Agility Championships this past September.
He seemed neither old nor
young. His strength lay in his eyes. They looked as old as the hills and as
young and as wild. I never tire of looking into them."
