Cal wasted no time in qualifying for his CD in 2 weekends.  In 4 shows, he NQ'd once (the third show) due to handler error.  I can say that because the owner, handler and this webmaster are the same person.  I goofed.   On his 4th try he not only qualified but was awarded 4th place.

General

Cal is our Minister of Good Will.  The calm, gentle layback dog who doesn't get rattled.  When qualifying for his TDI, as we left the judging area other judges watching were excited and asked if he made it.  He personifies the breed in friendliness.  We are generally amazed in this in-tact male who adores to play with puppies and children and we have no fear when he does so.  He is in training for Open competition and although not yet qualified is a strong tracker.  With his loveable mate CARA (friend in Gaelic) they are constantly praised as beatiful and wonderful dogs.   Cal generally works Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings as a demo dog for the beginner classes although at times he is also used for puppy classes.
