At four years of age, Bailey’s performance career has kicked into high drive. In Flyball, Bailey runs with the BC Boomerange’s MAX team and is just a few hundered points shy of his Flyball Masters title. Many people, after seeing him run, turn and say "Wow, you just don’t see Golden’s move like that." Bailey is a pretty fast dog and can hold his own against many a Border Collie. In fact, we think, he honestly believes he is one sometimes. In agility, Bailey and his handler, Terri, had an amazing spring and summer completing the majority of their Excellent and Elite titles and qualifying to compete in the 2000 Nationals in both AKC and NADAC (North American Agility Council). Bailey and family will head off to MN in late September to compete in his first NADAC Nationals and then off to MA in early November for AKC Nationals. Mom is a little nervous but has set the expectation levels low. "I just want to complete the course together and have a really good time. We are just getting our feet wet this year. Anything more will be icing to a really great cake, it would be nice, but the cake is wonderful without it."

At home, Bailey loves playing with and stealing thing from his older brother, Cody. Both boys enjoy swimming and playing Frisbee and would perform both activities until they dropped from the exhaustion of the game.

Mom and Dad think Bailey is just the best. Bailey was the last puppy to go from his litter and we think we were really lucky to get him. He is the sweetest little boy and we love him more than is reasonable.   And Bailey was really lucky to get such fine and devoted folks, thank you.  Signed Cal and Cara.
