Sterling is retired from the show ring in terms of competition due to a medical condition.  However, during his show days he was a dog to watch!  Out of the ring for almost 3 years people still ask about him at shows!  Sterling placed in every show he competed in with the exception of one including a high in trial!  Sterling is now well known as the "Trickster" at BC Dog Training where he visits often Saturday mornings for exercise and to show off his repertoire of over 40 different tricks and commands.   Sterling's gift to us is teaching us how to teach others with patience and kindness.

Tuvok, the newest addition to the family, is currently in training for showing in Agility and Obedience competition.  Tuvoke attended BC Dog Training's Day Care on a consistent daily basis as a youngster and credits his up, very socialized attitude to the care and attention given to him by the staff.  Still a young dog, he has already demonstrated the Shetland Sheepdog aptitude for learning quickly and has shown great jumping and herding capability.

Darshan is retired from the show ring having earned her first obedience degree at the age of 6 years old.   A middle aged dog upon her arrival at BC Dog Training, she is the epitome of the saying "You can teach an old dog new tricks".  Darshan now spends her days watching birds feeding in our backyard and keeping the boys (Sterling, Dapper and Tuvok) in their place at home.  She is of the true Collie nature wanting to be with her family and cuddled.

Dapper

D.O.B.:         August, 1994
HT.:              24 inches
WT.:             60 pounds
COLOR:       Tri-color

Dapper has been training since he was a puppy.  Dapper debuted in the obedience show ring in April 1998 and did not qualify at even one of the 4 shows that spring.  Despite Lassie's propensity for audiences, Dapper is a shy, reserved sort of fellow who is not comfortable performing before crowds.  Not to be deterred, Dapper is currently training in Agility and will return to the show ring in the future.
