Bruno is our rescue dog.  He came from Illini Doberman Rescue/ADOPT.  Poor Bruno was 50 lbs., not to mention an intact male, who was found wandering the side of the road.   He of course is now a healthy 75 lbs.  He had 3 homes prior to coming into ours on April 26, 1996.  Two weeks later, he slowly began to show signs of dog aggression.  I realized this was going to be a challenge, but there was no way I was ever going to give him up!  Over the last couple of years, he has learned to trust and respect that I would never let anything happen to him.  We have worked very hard with him and now if given the command to "leave it" we can walk a respectable distance from another dog and not do the "Helicopter Canine" routine.  He has mastered basic obedience and has been able to earn his CGC.  Unfortunately, because of his aggression shows appear to be out of the question.  He does have his ILP (Indefinite Listing Privilege) number in hopes that perhaps 1 day...  Besides being a HUGE Mama's Boy, he is an accomplished couch potato and would earn High in Trial if there ever was such an event!  He also enjoys long long walks like his sisters, Gracie and Diva, and he is the self-appointed guardian of the house.  Bruno may also be found demo-ing with his sisters on Saturdays at BC.  I thank every day that I have with Bruno.
